Privacy policy for the 财记Folio iOS app.

财记Folio is a personal asset tracking app. It helps users manually record holdings, transactions, cash balances, and portfolio performance. 财记Folio does not provide investment advice, brokerage services, custody services, cryptocurrency wallet services, or asset trading services.
The app may store information you enter, including:
This information is stored locally on your device using Apple system storage. The app does not require an account and does not upload your manually entered portfolio data to a 财记Folio server.
To calculate reference values and performance, the app may request market prices, exchange rates, and historical prices from the 财记Folio market data backend.
These requests may include only the minimum information needed to return market data, such as asset symbols, asset types, currency pairs, and date ranges. 财记Folio does not send your full portfolio, transaction history, local display name, notes, or cash balances to the market data backend.
The 财记Folio market data backend may request data from third-party market data providers, currently including services such as Twelve Data, Alpha Vantage, EODHD, and China fund data providers. The app does not store these third-party API keys on your device.
Like most internet services, the market data backend and its infrastructure providers may process technical network information such as IP address, user agent, request time, and service logs for security, reliability, debugging, and abuse prevention. Market quote responses may be cached to reduce API calls and improve performance.
If the market data backend or providers are unavailable, the app may use local cached or fallback reference data.
If you use the export feature, the app creates a file containing your portfolio data and opens the iOS share sheet. You choose where to send or save that file. Once you share or save an exported file outside the app, it is handled by the destination app or service you selected.
财记Folio does not use third-party advertising, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell personal data.
The app currently does not collect analytics or crash reports through a 财记Folio-operated backend. Apple may provide crash diagnostics or App Store analytics to the developer according to your device and Apple account settings.
You can delete holdings and related transaction records inside the app. You can also remove the app from your device to delete the app’s local data, subject to iOS backup and device settings.
财记Folio is intended for general personal finance tracking and is not directed to children.
